Avenida is open for lunch! Tuesday-Friday 11:30am-2pm.

The menu consists of soups, salads, and gourmet Latin sandwiches. Lunch can enjoyed in the dining room, on the patio, or as take-out.

Cena Completa

We introduce Cena Completa, family-style dinners that feed four, featuring an entree and two sides for one low cost.
 
Pollo a la Brasa [$30]
Pescado del Dia [$35]
Carne Asada [$40]
   
Sides include fried yucca, rice and beans, roasted potatoes, green beans, and steamed broccoli.
   
Cena Completa may be enjoyed Sunday-Thursday (closed Monday) either in our comfortable dining room or as take-out.

Niños Happy Hour

We’ve turned our Best Kids Menu of 2010 into two-hours of kid-friendly specials intended to bring a smile to the whole family.

Tuesday – Thursday from 5-7pm.

Enjoy Brunch at Avenida Reserve a table for what is the best brunch in town. Some of Chef Edgar’s signature brunch dishes include:

Frittata Del Dia with home fried potatoes, $9

Grilled Chicken Torta with fried green tomatoes, avocado, bacon and salsa, $11

Kids Scrambled Eggs with bacon, home fries and tortillas, $7

(All entrees are served with warm corn or flour tortillas. Egg whites are available upon request.)

Happy Holidays 2011!

December 17, 2011: Thanks to all of our customers who joined us to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Great food, drinks, and a live Mariachi band were there to ring it in with us. Chefs Kim and Edgar Alvarez are Stars! The owners of Avenida were a hit on CBS Philly when “Talk Philly” co-host Pat Ciarrocchi featured them on the Nov. 22 noon show, “Alternative Holiday Dishes.”
